Connie put in a warranty claim this week after discovering a seam separation near her rear slideout — and won. Her claim: $4,200 in repair costs covered by her applicator’s workmanship warranty. “The reason it worked is exactly what the forum told me: I had photos, I had my maintenance log, and I had filed within 30 days,” Connie shared. New Certified Applicators This Month

Thread: “Finally did it after 3 years of putting it off” — Member Greg P. (Minnesota) got his 2015 Newmar Dutch Star coated after finally committing to the investment. The forum celebrated with him. His post includes before/after photos that have been reshared extensively. Key quote: “I literally cannot believe I waited this long. The peace of mind alone was worth it.”
Thread: “Help — Traveling to Florida, noticing new ceiling stain” — This thread attracted 34 responses in 18 hours as members helped diagnose a new leak from a description. The community identified the likely source (AC unit gasket based on the location of the stain) and provided step-by-step interim guidance using our emergency repair guide. The member confirmed the diagnosis was correct and the gasket was replaced at a dealer the next day with a temporary EternaBond repair handling the seam gap.
Thread: “Comparison photos after 5 years — polyurea vs. EPDM side by side” — Forum member Bill R. (Texas) has been maintaining two nearly identical rigs with different roof treatments. He posted a comprehensive photo comparison at the 5-year mark. The polyurea rig: pristine. The EPDM rig: chalking, seam repairs needed in 4 locations, minor corner separation on two slideouts. The thread has become one of our most-shared.
