The Market Opportunity

The RV industry delivered over 600,000 new units in 2025, joining an existing fleet of more than 11 million RVs on American roads. Every single one of those vehicles has a roof that will eventually need protection or repair. Our 2026 industry report details why polyurea coating adoption is growing faster than any other RV service category.

Current certified applicators in our network are seeing:

  • Average job revenue: $2,600 (Class A Class A motorhome, full application)
  • Average material cost per job: $380โ€“650
  • Average time per job (including prep): 6โ€“8 hours
  • Average monthly job volume after 12 months: 8โ€“15 jobs per month

Our Certification Program

Module 1: Polyurea Chemistry & Product Knowledge (1 day)

Understanding what makes polyurea work โ€” and why it fails when it does โ€” is the foundation of consistent quality. You’ll learn the chemistry behind the two-component reaction, the role of primer selection in adhesion, UV degradation mechanisms, and how to evaluate product specifications. This knowledge makes you a better applicator and a more credible salesperson.

Module 2: Surface Preparation (1 day)

Preparation is where application quality is determined. This hands-on session covers substrate identification and assessment, cleaning protocols by substrate type, spot repair techniques for EPDM, TPO, fiberglass, and aluminum, primer selection and application for each substrate, and common prep failures and how to avoid them.

Module 3: Spray Equipment Operation & Application (1 day)

Live training on plural-component spray equipment โ€” including heated systems for cold-weather applications. Covers equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting; spray technique for uniform coverage; detail gun work at penetrations; quality inspection standards; and documentation protocols for warranty registration.
