About RV Roof Protection
RV Roof Protection was founded in 2014 by a group of RV enthusiasts, professional roofing contractors, and polyurea application specialists who shared a common frustration: the RV industry’s default roofing materials were failing owners, and the information gap between professional-grade solutions and consumer awareness was enormous.
What began as an educational blog and applicator referral service has grown into the nation’s most trusted network for RV roof protection — connecting over 12,400 active members with more than 280 certified polyurea applicators across all 50 states.
Our Mission
We exist to eliminate preventable water damage in recreational vehicles. Water intrusion through failed roofs destroys interiors, accelerates structural decay, and turns the dream of the open road into an expensive, stressful nightmare. With the right information and the right professional support, virtually all of it is preventable. That’s what we do every day.

At the heart of RV Roof Protection is our certified applicator program. Every applicator in our directory has completed our rigorous training and certification process, which includes:
- Classroom and hands-on training in polyurea chemistry, surface preparation, and plural-component spray equipment
- Live application certification on actual RV roof substrates (EPDM, TPO, fiberglass, and aluminum)
- Business standards training covering warranty documentation, client communication, and quality inspection protocols
- Background verification and insurance confirmation

Marcus has been writing about RV maintenance since 2012 and founded RV Roof Protection after personally experiencing a catastrophic roof failure on a cross-country trip. He holds a certification in polyurea application and has completed hundreds of roof assessments alongside certified applicators in the field.
