Welcome to the RV Roof Protection community. Whether you found us after your first roof leak, through a recommendation from a fellow RVer, or because you’re doing your homework before buying your first rig — you’re in the right place. This guide will orient you to everything we offer and help you figure out exactly where to start.
Who We Are
RV Roof Protection is a nationally recognized network of certified polyurea applicators, RV owners, and roofing professionals united by one mission: eliminating preventable water damage in recreational vehicles. We’ve been building this community since 2014, and today our network spans all 50 states with certified applicators in more than 280 cities.
We’re not a product company or a contractor franchise. We’re an educational and professional network — think of us as the consumer’s advocate for RV roof protection, providing the unbiased information you need to make the best decision for your specific rig.
Start Here: Understand Your Roof
Before anything else, know what you’re working with. There are four primary RV roof material types, each with different maintenance requirements and different coating options:
- EPDM rubber — The most common material, especially on older rigs. Requires the most ongoing maintenance.
- TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) — Common on newer Class A and Class C motorhomes. More UV-resistant than EPDM but vulnerable to seam failures.
- Fiberglass — Found on many Airstreams and high-end coaches. Durable but prone to stress cracking at flex points.
- Aluminum — The Airstream signature material. Excellent durability, unique sealing requirements.
Our complete comparison guide covers every material type and explains what it means for your maintenance and protection strategy.
